Reedham Primary and Nursery School

We wanted to share with you that Reedham Primary School is now in charge of the nursery provision on site.  In the past the nursery was run by Jane Cooper as Little Ducklings.  Jane is now pursuing a different career path so the school decided to take on ownership of the nursery where we can directly input into its running.  This allows us to improve the learning, provision and transition arrangements and gives children the opportunity to pass through their early years and primary years on one site under one team.  Parents can choose to send their children from age 2 and can access government funding for children aged 3 and 4.

Obviously taking over the nursery just as the pandemic hit has been difficult and we wanted to get that message out there that we are here for your little ones as well as primary aged children.  The school is going from strength to strength.  Pupil numbers are at their highest for over a decade as word of mouth about our fantastic offer spreads.  This means we can continue to invest and make improvements to the infrastructure, technology, resources and staffing.  This also applies to making improvements in the nursery as we know giving your child the best possible start in terms of their early education is key to them being happy and enabling them to make good progress.

If you have a child you would like to attend our nursery please get in touch with us.  You can contact us by email: nursery@reedham.norfolk.sch.uk  or  office@reedham.norfolk.sch.uk  or you can contact the headteacher direct at  head@reedham.norfolk.sch.uk

Alternatively you can telephone the school:  01493 700 271

We always welcome visits and would be more than happy to show you around both the nursery and primary school to give you a clear idea of what we can offer your child.  This offer extends to wrap around care as we have a breakfast club running from 8:00 until school starts and an after school club lasting from 3:15 until 5:00 every day.  This in on top of specialised after school club activities covering sports, dance, singing and brick club.
